Informational Power Point to support SAT includes:

  • Specific dates to follow
  • New shifts in the test-Evidence Finding to Support the Answer is huge
  • Curriculum should be standard-based in order for students to grow grade level by grade level mastering skills each year so they are ready by 11th grade to tackle this test of their skills.
  • Need to Knows for students, teachers, and principals-Some ways you can use the information inside the classroom to mimic some of the test questions
  • The set up the new test and the content areas included
  • Student quotes that you can bring into your classroom.  They will take some of test anxiety away from the test takers
  • Reading is the key to this test.  Even being able to understand the directions can be complicated if you miss the word NOT or do not know an academic word that is in the directions. 
  • This is an informational power point and the ROE hopes it will be helpful.
